All you have to do is donate your old dress(es) that are collecting dust-bunnies, and you will help underprivelaged girls have a night they can remember forever! Dress-shopping was always the most fun part of prom anyways in my opinion; it breaks my heart to think there are girls out there that never get to experience the thrill of the hunt, the rush of the purchase and the excitement of wearing a gorgeous gown that makes them feel special, if for one night only.
So what do you have to lose? Nothing - some old gown that you'll never shorten and wear again, no matter what some bridezilla told you. And what do you have to gain? Everything. Closet space, if nothing else. But you know it'll be more than that - you'll know that you're helping make a teenaged girl smile somewhere in the world. And that's reason enough for me.
